In tomsrtbt you have to configure the NIC manually, even if
the driver is compiled into the kernel.

ifconfig eth0 ip.address ...
route add destination.ip eth0
echo DNS.ip >> /etc/resolv.conf (if needed)
etc.

Same procedure for eth1. Then ping destinations.
