Thanks very much, again Tom.

Just in case anyone would like more details, this is
what I actually did based on your suggestion. I didn't
know what you meant, at first, by "You can put
whtaever 650 MB you want." Then I understood, If you
are going to burn a bootable tomsrtbt CD, you might as
well put some other data on the CD too! It costs no
more, only a little time.

Here are the details

1. Unzipped the cd-rom version of tomsrtbt. I got a
file called tomsrtbt-1.7.366.ElTorito.288.img. I put
that file in a convenient directory on my
Linux-Mandrake 7.2 system.
2. Added a new subdirectory under that named "empty"
3. Added some other data to the subdirectory named
"empty."
4. From the command line, entered (per Tom's
suggestion):
mkisofs -b tomsrtbt-1.7.366.ElTorito.288.img -o
boot.catalog -o toms.iso empty/*

The program (mkisofs) ran a couple of minutes as it
made the iso image complete with the 200 MB of added
data.

5. Copied "toms.iso" over to my windows partition
where I used Easy CD Creator (4) and burned the ISO
image.

Tried it on two machines and it works fine.

Now, Tom, just one more question. We all know how to
mount devices like floppies (/dev/fd0) or hard drives
(/dev/hda1), etc. Is there an easy way to access a
standard IDE CD-ROM drive from tomsrtbt.

Thanks, again

Bob
