Not exactly a typo. People were missing the >2.0.39 kernel features more,
and there are many things that are for the moment gone (such as, pcmcia
scsi, emacs, badblocks, debuge2fs, dumpe2fs, plip and slip...). The
intention is that I'll find ways to cram everything back on, and it was
easier to erase the emacs from the lsm that to re-hand-justify, given that
I expect to put it back in someday. Also, this way makes it more easily
visible that it is gone...

Also, the hard truth is that it is "Tom's" root boot disk...

And it turns out that Tom uses "vi"...

And uses network pcmcia cards to back up notebooks, not pcmcia scsi...

When push comes to shove, (and, I have not been able to get much help from
users about what pieces don't get used and should be removed...), what
ends up getting removed is the things I can live without myself.

I do have a long list of ways to fit more on, but I think it is a good
idea to get the 2.2.x based one out the door, as it could be another year
before I get all those things done back to the point where emacs and
pcmcia scsi will fit again...
