OK, I have reproduced a problem... Ummm... well, I can tell you one thing,
I am going to stick a bunch of debugging stuff in, (btw, init now logs on
virtual terminal 5 by default, that is where it will spew), so that I can
tell what happens when failures are found.  Ummm... it looks like I have
it mostly fixed.  Try the version > 2.0.88.  -Tom
