At the risk of stating the obvious, those of us who keep copies of tomsrtbt around in a directory and load from a DOS prompt when in trouble can use that option on the loadlin command line.
E.g., I have a multibooting Libretto with no CD-ROM or floppy. It does have a batch file, however, whose only contents are: d: cd \tomsrtbt loadlin zImage initrd=initrd.bz2 ramdisk_size=20480 root=/dev/ram0 rw Cheers, Tyler At 08:01 AM 2/11/2003 -0500, Tom Oehser wrote: > >> Where do i have to change somethign so i get about 8MB as ramdrive (Root > >Either at the boot: prompt, as in: > > boot: bz2bzImage ramdisk_size=8192 > >or in the lilo.conf included in buildit.s as in: > > append=ramdisk_size=8192 > >-Tom > >
