Don- First, you have to be *subscribed* to the list in order to post to it.

Your question is not really specific enough. There are plenty of resources
on how to build bootable CDs, various customizable bootable CDs, resources
on how to make root filesystems, startup scripts, basic Unix/Linux startup
flow, etc. You should basically learn how it all works, try to do what you
want, *then* come with questions when you get stuck.

Hello tomsrtbt,

I am looking at creating a bootable cd as a way of doing a demo,
basically I want to install all the software required and boot to
the cd and then the demo will fire off, demo will use
  appserver/mysql and others.

Does anyone have some suggestion on how to do this, basically I want
it all to fit on a cd, I could also use the ntfs filesyatem /tmp dir
as a swap area, again any thoughts!!
