I am attempting to track down some variations in CCF formats and remote
capabilities that requires a larger sample set than I currently possess.
It's not possible to use the CCF's from RemoteCentral because I cannot
correlate them with specific source remote models. It would also be
useful for my records to know what kind of OS and hardware is in use. It
may allow me to determine if CPU speeds or OS versions are affecting
communications problems.

If you're willing to participate, I've outlined the steps here:

  http://giantlaser.com/tonto/?x=doc&y=oview#bugs

In short: please setup your debug levels, use 'Utility->Raw Upload' to
obtain a 'clean ccf', use 'Utility->Email Logfile' to send me a snapshot
of the communications and then email the raw ccf along with your exact
remote model and OS/CPU setup to me. Include any notes about
performance, communications or other aspects of Tonto.

I have no interest in the content of the CCF's other than their
structure and header flags. I will not copy or distribute them and will
delete them when my analysis is done.

This would be really helpful.

thanks,

stewart
