hi i am porting an existing application to solaris and this application uses some simple inline assembly on linux / gcc. I would like to port these inline assembly syntax with sun studio 12. do I need to use .il file or will sunstudio compiler understand "asm" keyword and appropriately use it. in other words, does sun studio 12 understand "asm" keyword as with the case in gcc ?
