We're using GCC, not Sun Studio. (Sorry, should have said that.) I've been told there's basically no hope of building our product with the Sun compiler -- we make heavy use of templates and even do some template metaprogramming, and the Sun compiler isn't (I'm told) sufficiently conforming for this stuff to work. > Failing this I'd recommend posting on the > forums [1] if you > don't get a prompt reply from the compiler guys.
