I know that. I realise the only reason it's happening right now is because Sun is the one responsible for triaging, prioritising, etc. and that is happening based on business needs which is logical for a public company. However, it is not acceptable long term for this project since it is an open source one. That is why I look forward with great anticipation to the day when qualified outside contributors will be able to have equal commit access to the code repositories.
