As I mentioned before, only tagging builds causes a problem for external
developers: you don't have a way to match the closed tarballs not
corresponding to a build to the sources, so I think there should be tags
for both builds and source drops.
I do build closed binaries that match the build snapshots though... are
those not sufficient?
