-xO0 is the no-opt mode of the optimizing codegenerator. The infrastructural things are there, since this is the same code geneartor. But the code is debuggable. So you can try to use "-xO0 -xhwcprof". One should note that the code generated with no optimization and with -xO0 should be different.
