Hi,

The recent thread showed the interest in keywords and more generally the
lack of documentation of the process of going from script/binary/crash
to the right source code revision. I believe that the arguments against
and pro the SCCS keywords are clear to everyone, we are just arguing
what's The Right Thing [tm] for everyone (even that no such thing can
exist obviously). What would you thing about documenting all the
possibilities and explaining their strengths, weaknesses and usage ?

I started such sketch here:

http://braindump.uk/wiki/index.php/Matching_deliverable_to_sources

I'll add mercurial related stuff later. Would you help me with the page
please ? I believe that we can all benefit from it (for example I didn't
know about the sunsolve file fingerprints).

Any fixes to what I wrote are more than welcome.

The form is irrelevant, I started on braindump because I wanted to try
how does editing there feel (not bad actually).

Thank you
