I thought i've mentioned this before, but you really need to change the template for http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/page.cgi?id=fields.html#status to explain the statuses you've created and how to use them. Ideally if you had done this, people could click the 'status' link, read the explanation, and figure out what to do -- instead of asking here.
