I think the problem is actually that this is in the
"nws_san_foundation_kit" product, not the "solaris" product.

I think Jim is right. as of last October, only the following products
were leveraging the public email feature:
'jaas', 'java', 'jax-ws', 'jaxb', 'jaxp', 'jce','jets', 'jgss', 'jmx', 'jndi',
'jsse', 'saaj' and 'solaris'
(all of those are java related, except for 'solaris').
This is why, for years, Scott & I have been trying to get all solaris bugs
tracked
actually under product "solaris" so that inconsistent policy implementation
like this would not happen.
I think with our push for more openness that we can start to use that
for leverage.
