Hi, experts, Adobe is trying to port the acroread to x86+nevada and x86+S10. They use gcc 4.1.0 and gdb (shipped with solaris) to compile and debug the reader. They got following errors when trying to load reader with gdb (dbx has the same error): > This GDB was configured as "i386-pc-solaris2.11"...BFD: acroread: > > invalid string offset 10535297 >= 96 for section `.shstrtab' > > > > Segmentation Fault (core dumped) > > > > We get the error message on both Opensolaris+x86 (gdb version - 6.3) > > and Solaris10+x86 (gdb evrsion - 6.6) Does anyone know why and how to resolve this?
