Hey, that's great! That's a nice blog entry, and I think very representative of the problem people have with runpaths in non-Sun supplied software. The idea of a more general tool to tweak things like this is still plugging along as a background task. We're still figuring out some of how it should look, and there's lots left to work out and code up. So in time, but not in the immediate future. That's the big reason I put rpath out there now --- I didn't want to make everyone wait for the "better" tool, when 99% of the time, it's the runpath people want to change.
