but I have one more doubt about this, in my solaris10 machine I have /lib/libc.so.1 : [ PF_W PF_R ] /lib/ld.so.1 : [ PF_X PF_W PF_R ] why the libc.so.1 is not contain execute permission here. is this due to security purpose. Thanks & Regards Verma This message posted from opensolaris.org
