That would actually be a great idea. If mediawiki supported urls
something like [[Special:Template/Cool|Alphabet|Grandplan|NamedParam=Amazing]]
which would produce the same output as
{{Cool|Alphabet|Grandplan|NamedParam=Amazing}} but on a standalone
page then I feel that could have a lot of uses.Another related idea would be to allow the &preload= parameter to have variable substitution - that way creating page content remotely could also be made easier.
