hi,
i've installed a mytop replacement called rmytop on nightshade. compared to
mytop, rmytop:
* doesn't flicker when updating the screen when there are a large number of
threads
* is faster
* can connect to multiple servers at once and show queries from all of them
* uses $HOME/.my.cnf instead of requiring its own configuration file
* doesn't corrupt your terminal display by printing random garbage to the
screen
* is actively maintained
to view multiple servers at once:
$ rmytop -h sql-s1 -h sql-s2 -h sql-s3
at some point i'll probably replace mytop with a symlink to rmytop. if rmytop
is missing any features you like from mytop, say so now.
