this problem seems to be fixed now; we will switch over to the new server later
this week. if you haven't yet moved any databases to the new server which need
to be moved, you should start doing so now.
if necessarily, you can temporarily change 'sql-s2' to 'daphne' in your tools
to force use of the new server; however, you must revert this once the change
is complete.
