It is exceptionally weak with the antenna disconnected. I do not believe anyone would ever notice it at all except with no antenna connected. Never heard it, but I always had a wire on the rig. Anyone who can hear an internal birdie well in the noise floor on 160 deserves an award, and likely has DXCC+ on that Band. In the OM Kenwood reports three unavoidable birds but the one on 160 is omitted. Must be too weak to matter in the scheme of things. 73, Gary NL7Y ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~: -- 73 Ian, G3NRW _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw?
