North Coast Contesters are pleased to announce that the Crowne Plaza in Dayton, Ohio will start taking room reservations for the 2012 Hamvention week - tomorrow morning at 9 AM EDT, Monday, June 20, 2011.
You MUST either call this telephone number to make reservations 937-229- 9852 (special number) or you can make them online at http://contesthotel.com <http://contesthotel.com/> IMPORTANT NOTES ***Do not call the special reservation number (or the hotel direct line - or the toll free reservation line) or attempt to get an on-line reservation before 9 AM EDT Monday, June 20, 2011 - as you will be told to call back and any online attempts will not be honored with a valid confirmation number before 9 AM EDT. The telephone operator on this special Hamvention number will not put anyone on hold (prior to 9 AM) and the front desk will not forward you before or after 9 AM. 937-229-9852 is the only number valid for telephone reservations for Hamvention week 2012 and only after 9 AM EDT on Monday June 20, 2011. You can reserve a maximum of 2 rooms per person - please do not try to reserve (capture) more than 2 rooms - same two room limit applies online and by telephone. If you call the special number and get the voicemail box - DO NOT leave a message - they cannot call you back. Call back. You must talk to a live operator to make a reservation. A live operator will answer the special phone and put you on hold and in queue for the reservation agents. PLEASE BE patient! This system works - but we all have to understand that the pile up will be huge. Please be PATIENT with the hotel staff as they get you signed up as quickly as possible. The rate for Hamvention week is $135.00/night plus tax at the Crowne Plaza. There are no club floor rooms available. Single or double bed rooms are the same rate ($135/night). The rate is $135.00 plus tax regardless of how many people are sleeping in the room (1 to 4). A deposit is required at the time of reservation and the hotel cancellation policy applies. The Crowne Plaza has long been the official contester hotel in Dayton.
