I use the TLW program so often here I'm guilty of referring to it that way earlier, not remembering not everyone might know what it is. "Transmission Line Program for Windows," the actual program being TLW.exe comes on a disc with the ARRL Antenna Book. It was written by Dean Straw, N6BV. It has been included with the Antenna Book for about 10 years. It is a very simple to use, very handy program that provides for the assessment of transmission line losses as a function of frequency, line type, SWR, line length, etc. It also will design a PI or L network to bring any impedance back to 50 ohms and gives the power loss or dissipation in the network components for typical values of Q. Everything here is non-resonant wire antennas and all the matching networks were done with TLW.
It's a great program. TNX Dean! 73, Hal N4GG _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw? BK
