I finally got enough stuff straightened around in the old DX-100 to get it cranking out RF power on 160, 80, and 40 meters. There is more to do but I hear lots of stations on top band and thought maybe I would just slip it back into the cabinet and get on the air - do the rest *later*. I turned the power off and decided to feel some of the power supply parts for *HEAT*. I near burned my fingers on the filter cap for the "low" voltage supply!

I have all the caps. Maybe I can get those in and on the air before everybody goes to bed. I think there will be contest and sprint activity through tomorrow some time. I do have to assemble terminal strips etc to get it all done but there is hope now.

160 sure is a "target rich environment" right now.
