Years ago I used DX Summit a lot, but it has become relatively useless and unresponsive without real support, so I gave it up years ago. Now I use DXWatch a lot - very good filters and tools. Another site that I have used quite a bit is the F5LEN Webcluster - also has good tools - including some sun tools to let us see in real time where daylight and darkness are and the terminator (gray line). Those are two good sites. I'll have to look into that SK6AW site.
DX Summit just became unusable for me. Not worth the trouble. 73, Charlie, K4OTV -----Original Message----- From: Topband [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Eddy Swynar Sent: Sunday, February 09, 2014 9:03 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: Topband: DX Summit connection problems On 2014-02-09, at 5:21 PM, Herb Schoenbohm wrote: > I use DX-Summit at times to monitor topand activity. But for some reason the connection is rejected via my normal ISP. However when I use by Android on ATT there is no problem connection. The same ability to connect is via another computer hooked to a different IP address. One local ISP is blocked and the other isn't. I just hope someone can help me with this as there must be some simple solution. On the DX Summit site I can not find a "help" or "contact" person to send my problem to. > > Thanks, > > Herb Schoenbohm, KV4FZ > _________________ > Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband Hi Herb, I gave up on the DX Summit YEARS ago... Suddenly I couldn't post spots, & simply gave-up trying to find help. Found refuge in this site, however: http://www.sk6aw.net/cluster/ Maybe you will, too...! ~73~ de Eddy VE3CUI - VE3XZ _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband
