Many of the two wire Beverage antennas used by RCA, AT&T and other companies in the 1920s were much more sophisticated than the simple two wire Beverage used by many Topbanders. While we typically select one of the two outputs of a two wire Beverage to cover one of two directions, the patent filed in 1921 by E.W.
