I don't know how many of you have seen this but Bob Heil showed an 
alternative on Ham Nation.  I found a clip of the show that just shows the 
antenna launcher that he used.  It's a dog trainer made by DT Systems.  The 
only modification you do is taking the muff off and adding a little weight 
to the end that launches.  It is shot by a 22 powder load like they use in 
the DeWalt and other brands nail guns.  The drawback is that it might be a 
little noisy if you live close to other people or in town.
