Mike (W0BTU) does not recall correctly. Just to give credit where it is due, Doug Waller NX4D invented the "Waller" flag. Doug's was implemented as a vertical array only but JC's contribution was implementing it as a horizontal array, along with other items such as low noise preamps, low noise feed system, etc.
