I have heard XR0ZRC the past two evenings on 160. Agreed they are not hearing very well at all - as they had a rather large pileup of both USA and EU stations calling (and yes VA2WA) and very few were getting through. For awhile last night - the only stations I heard getting through were other South Americans.
I would say from both evenings - that they are putting in a lot of effort for not so many QSOs - which is hard work on their part. Hopefully - they will have some better nights without as much QRN and put more stations in the log. Their signal on 80 was much better. For me - I worked a previous effort some 23 years ago, so I was more focused on 5V7EI - who appears to only been on FT8 on topband last night. Since I don't operate that mode - guess I won't work them. I have heard three countries in the past couple of weeks that I need - but none of them got in the log (7P, 5X and 5V). My wife helped me put down 9 more radials last night - so I am up to 20... and did manage a QSO with HA8FK - which is getting pretty late in the season to work Europe. 73 Tree N6TR Manning, OR On Tue, Mar 26, 2019 at 7:00 AM David Olean <k1...@metrocast.net> wrote: > I am a bit puzzled by XR0ZRC.
