I have a 585' single wire beverage more or less NE to SW.I put it up two years ago as a test it worked great. Its in a heavily wooded area with thick underbrush.I just cleared the trail so now would like to add a second wire and make it directional. I'm using Tractor Supply insulators it's the kind with the small wood screw in the end.I'm using #14 THHN copper wire. I'm going to make up Mikes (W0BTU) 1:1 reflection transformer. How crucial is the spacing for the two wires? Using Mikes spread sheet looks like 1.2'' spacing. Not sure if I did this correctly or not? I chose the following..10' height .0641" conductor diamater Thanks for any helpFred KB4QZH _________________ Searchable Archives: http://www.contesting.com/_topband - Topband Reflector
