I think I was the one who first suggested Wednesday night aka Thursday morning UTC, because the CWOps 0300z session wraps up at 0400z after which I prowl around 160 a bit looking for EU DX.
I know there are several EU's who I work every week in the 0300Z session so they are already up in the middle of the night. I myself have just begun putting my 160 RX antennas back together... and of course we have the pre-Stew this weekend!
