Yes, good to hear some activity . . . I came on for a while around 0230Z and worked about 15 NA stations.
When I checked RBN after getting up later, I noticed that all the other British DXers' signal reports that came on around Sunrise were 10 - 15 dB down on my reports in the middle of the night. This confirms my own observations that far from being a PEAK these days, there's often a DIP in signals at that time. (However, I appreciate they may have been coming on at that time to work VK/ZL) By the way, I like the idea from SV3RF of giving a Noise Level report . . . however, unless universally agreed, I think most people would be upset receiving a 574 report !! 73 Roger G3YRO _________________ Searchable Archives: http://www.contesting.com/_topband - Topband Reflector
