Hi George When I worked you on Topband your signal was the first and only signal heard from the Pacific Ocean until much later when KH6J finally came up out of the noise
The strongest signals heard all weekend on Topband outside North America were MW5B and G3YRO. I have hunted down most of the QRN sources on 160 but have not done that for 80. Also, the QTH was unique: In Anaho Bay on Nuku Hiva Island, there were steep cliffs on three sides, only open from NW to NNE. For W3 probably just OK. I got great reports from W7 on 160, pretty poor from FL. TKS for calling anyway.
