Having read the Handbook for this device, it looks like it is just for pulse-noise (like ignition, or electric fences etc) . . . but removing it BEFORE it gets into the Receiver, unlike the usual Noise Blanker circuits that are in the I.F.
My local noise on all the low bands is just wideband hash from various neighbours dirty switch-mode PSUs. The Noise Blankers in my rigs don't reduce it at all . . . so I'm presuming that neither would this unit? As per the previous post, I wonder if anyone has used it?
