G'day
Hat off to Steve VE6WZ for his AI-assisted songwriting. I particular like the 'Echoes of Topband' country song, despite my love of Stevie Ray Vaughn-style blues. The song really captured the essence of the Topband Disease and the love of listening for a distant lowband radio signal to slide up out of the noise in the ether. Thank you to Steve for his contributions of two great songs. For those that are interested, there are some excellent songs about the magic/love of radio in the Americana mainstream. My two favourites are 'Windfall' by Son Volt and 'This Empty Northern Hemisphere' by Gregory Alan Isakov. This latter contains the lyrics: 'while you were sleeping I was turning the dials and I walled up your kingdom with radio wires and the bells of the choir came in low and rumbling .aw you should a heard them.' In fact if Tree is moderating please remove if it?s too far off-topic, but it is about Topband. I did receive quite a few emails about the TopBand Blues song, so here is one more describing the Magic of TopBand radio, the love and the addiction. For those that are more Country inclined, this might ?resonate? more. I am NOT a musician, this is all from the magic of Suno AI. I just provided lyrics and guided the robot for the ?sound? I wanted. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FJYrfXV5j9DCRmy50798FrTyaU_9BorT/view?usp=s haring <https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FJYrfXV5j9DCRmy50798FrTyaU_9BorT/view?usp= sharing> Steve VE6WZ _________________ Searchable Archives: http://www.contesting.com/_topband - Topband Reflector
