From the Southern California desert QTH of K0XP: I heard, for around 2
or 3 minutes, OK1CF soon after he was spotted by someone else (next time
I'll write down the time heard). Later, I tuned onto a weak spectral
line and after a minute, clearly copied SM2CEW CQing for 10 or 15
seconds. But I never heard him again after his initial CQ.
No other European was heard the rest uf the night through about 0430Z,
and I didn't wind up calling anybody.
I dunno where the storms were that were causing so much QRN, but they
were severe whie I was listening.
750W and inv L at 35 ft, no RX antlers yet.
