I am glad you found Dean and Scott's training useful. Allow me to  
respond here.

There is currently no way in TBC to make those names appear shorter in  
the navigation windows. The best solution (in general) is to have  
short prefixes with 3 or 4 letters each. Having said this, the request  
of customizing the display labels is coming up again and again so that  
we will address it in a future version.
