Dave;  This is indeed strange.  The only configuration that should
impact this is the Max number of instances displayed.  But that
shouldn't render an empty table.  Does this happen when creating any
instance of a class (in any ontology), or is it specific to a class/
ontology?

Another potential difference between the systems is the Annotations
Template.  But if the Resource is being created (shows up in the
Resource Form), then it seems to come down to an update problem in the
instances tab.

Do both machines use the same version of Eclipse?

Most importantly, can you take a look at the Error Log (Window -> Show
View -> Error Log) to see if an error is logged when you see this
behavior?
