I am trying to import the DITA XML schema into an exisitng OWL-DL ontology (I only have one large OWL file at this point). However, there are 40 xsd files in the schema and the TopBraid Composer help file for "Import XML" file, says that you just need to right click on a folder and the Import Wizard will open. This wizard does not appear for me. The initial instructions are a bit ambiguous. Can anyone suggest first how to import according to the Help file and then second, how to get these imported xsd files to appear in my OWL-DL ontology.
This is the confusing text: "TopBraid Composer can be used to import XML Schema files. The corresponding wizard can be accessed by right-clicking on a target folder, and then selecting Import OWL Files from XML Schemas. On the first page of this wizard, you can select the source XML Schema files, which can either reside locally or on the Web: After the files have been loaded into memory, you can edit the namespace mapping, i.e. which XML Schema namespace is mapped into which OWL file. This mapping is already populated for your convenience, and there is a short cut button to convert urn-based namespace into http-based ones. Once the wizard is finished, the system will create one or more files into the selected folder. These files may import each other, reflecting the imports that have been defined in the original XSD files. By default, the XSD importer will annotate the generated classes so that they can be used as schema for Semantic XML files." --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TopBraid Composer Users" group.
