Thanks for this bug report. You have identified a failure in our QA for the 3.0 release. What we get here is that we can compile the HelloWorld project, upload it, and then get "Simple Example View" and "Simple Example Control" to appear in the menu, but when you try to add them it doesn't work properly. This is slightly different from your experience, but not satisfactory. We will probably need to make an updated version of the SDK available on-line. The person on the lead on the SDK was off work during the 3.0 release, and is back in the office next week. In his absence, we had not done meaningful QA on the SDK in the final build, and have not automated QA for the SDK, nor added it to our manual checks. (Obviously checking that HelloWorld compiles and then works is a reasonable minimal check, that we should have done, and we will add this to our QA checklist for the future). This omission from the QA process is my responsibility, and I am sorry for your unnecessary difficulties. I will ask him to prioritize this when he gets back, so hopefully there will be a new SDK late next week.
