When you launch topbraid live it shows a list of projects and you can
choose to show or hide the contents. However, when it displays the
contents of a project, it lists the "Data from Project <projectName>"
as a flat hyperlinked list of the file names. Because it does not
display the context of the files, it can be very uninformative: in my
case, I have reservoir simulation projects that contain multiple
variant model specifications, so the same named model files (each
having a unique URI and namespace) appear in multiple places in the
project directory, but because TBL flattens the list, it displays long
lists of same-named files without regard to their namespace or
directory grouping. This results in something like this:
Fractures
Fractures
...
Fractures
Wells
Wells
...
Wells
...
This gives no insight into what the files are without opening them.
Would it be possible to alternatively display these model files in the
directory structure that they are stored in or perhaps in a directory
structure that mimics the structure of their URIs? For example:
Lajas Reservoir Project
Case1
Fractures
Wells...
Case 2
Fractures
Wells...
Or be able to display metadata about the files, e.g., their URI or
namespace and be able to group by the metadata? I could make each one
of my project variants a Composer model to have it group things more
logically...any other suggestions?
Thanks
Arthur
