We are pleased to announce the release of SPIN 1.1 today.

This release includes numerous significant improvements:
- User-defined spin:MagicProperties
- SPARQL UPDATE (INSERT INTO, DELETE FROM, MODIFY) now supported by
SPIN RDF syntax
- spin:nextRuleProperty and spin:rulePropertyMaxIterationCount to
control rule execution order
- spin:fix to automatically suggest fixes of constraint violations
- spin:thisUnbound to control performance
Some of these changes were made in response to customer suggestions
(thanks!). The new features have been carefully added without breaking
backward compatibility or overloading the language.
The new version of the SPIN API 1.1.0 also supports those changes.

The upcoming release of TopBraid 3.2 (soon!) will provide full support
for all the new features. I will publish some new blog entries to
introduce some of the new capabilities. Please stay tuned.
