Amrapali; Sorry you are having these problems with installation. It is very unusual and I am beginning to suspect that you do not have adequate memory to run Composer. 1Gb is on the lower end for Windows XP.
The problem is with the amount of memory available to the JVM. You can try quitting some other applications to free some memory. You can also try reducing the amount of memory specified for the heap space (- Xmx200m or something), but this will cause Composer to run slowly. Make sure the syntax of the -Xmx statement is correct.
