Vlad; Sorry, the answer was already in your subject line. The Free edition uses the SPIN inference engine and therefore requires an additional setup step. If you import owlrl-all.owl (in the project TopBraid library > Common) into the example file you create, the subPropertyOf inferences will work. (Just FYI, owlrl-all.owl is an implementation of the OWL 2 RL profile.)
