yes this is possible, although the syntax is a bit verbose. First, the main
purpose of the built-in rdfex support is to make sure that any imports starting
with http://rdfex.org/ are not going against the RDFex web service, but instead
use local copies of the namespaces (such as foaf). But in addition to that, you
can also run it against any other local file, specified by its base URI. For
example
http://rdfex.org/?uri=http://topbraid.org/examples/kennedys&names=Person,JohnKennedy
would import the Person class and JohnKennedy from the kennedys example
ontology. (In this case JohnKennedy does not have any property values because
none of the properties are imported).
Note that these imports are only valid inside of TopBraid though, as the global
rdfex web service currently only supports the most common standard namespaces.
