Tim; I did a quick test with SE (windows, version
3.2.2.v20091223-2155R) and it works OK with a standard SPARQL
extension (ala Adding SPARQL Functions to TopBraid).  The Error log
should trap any exception messages coming from Eclipse or the plugins.

Using the dropins folder could be useful, but at least with SPARQL
extensions you can put the jars in either plugins or dropins.
