also how about
subscript and superscript characters
For the special unicode chars found on
http://unicode.org/charts/PDF/U2070.pdf
it should be possible to use them in eclipse and Jena and TBE ....
(i.e. these are expressed as 16 bit unicode chars which are supported by
all the relevant software libraries)
However ... in practice I would expect you to struggle to make sure that
all the fonts you need are available to the right bits of software, and
entering funny Unicode characters can be a pain.
Typically I would use an application that I feel confident in first,
(e.g. using Numeric Character References in an HTML page on my own
machine), use this to check I have the fonts installed so that my
browser can get to them, then now I can see the chars on my screen I
would copy/paste into the application I am trying to use ... and go from
there.
In general, this shouldn't be different from using Asian chars in
TBC/TBE which is known to work ....
As far as I can tell, Unicode itself does not provide general support
for subscript and superscript. Unicode is not a mark-up language.
