Christoph, If your question is about TBC - in any views implemented as grids (such as the instances view) you can click on a column you want to sort the results by. The query results view is also implemented as a grid and a few others. And you can sort within the query.
If the question is about TBE, it also depends on a component you are using. Grids can be sorted on each column, for trees a sorting property can be specified (by default it goes by label), grids content can also be generated by a SPARQL query which has an ORDER BY clause.
