Hi Paul, our build will automatically pick up the latest versions of the external ontologies such as dcterms, meaning that 3.4.0 will include that update. However we do use a local copy of the core DC vocabulary (that is now slowly becoming out of fashion). I checked whether the latest DC version online has any "interesting" changes, but could not find anything so that leaving the old version in sounds OK to me.
As usual, you always have the option to replace any of the system ontologies that are delivered as part of our product with other copies.
